Menchov wins Giro

dispite suffering a dramatic fall
in the last kilometer of the final stage,
Menchov (and Vincent Hendriks) kept it cool
to win the 2009 Giro d'Italia
that was close!

It's never the way that one would like to win, but it probably didn't get Mr. Menchov down too much.
